Vacuum pumps for the construction industry

Vacuum lifters, panel handling and tunnel segments
In automated lifting and transferring, the pump generates the negative pressure for the suction cups. Becker names side channel blowers for tube and column lifters (SV: 195 to 1,250 m³/h, −290 to −440 mbar) and claw vacuum pumps for robotic pick & place (BCV 100: 50 mbar, BCV 300: 150 mbar), with press feeding and panel storage as examples. Becker lists the handling of tunnel segments without a description; a case study on pick & place names 20,000 maintenance-free operating hours.

Screed insulation drying
Moist air is extracted from the insulation layer and dry air is blown in – Becker also names this for drying after water damage and lists its SV and VASF side channel blowers for it. Becker lists the evacuation of drying systems and drying in autoclaves without a description.
Pneumatic conveying of cement, lime and pellets
A pressure difference in pipelines moves powder, granulate, semi-finished and finished goods. Becker names series from its entire range for this – from VT and VX through KVT, KVX, VTLF and VXLF to BCV, SV and VASF as well as the KDT and DTLF compressors – and lists the conveying of cement and lime, of pellets and wood chips, and pneumatic tube systems without further description.
Blast air: ready-mixed plaster, inliner rehabilitation, foam concrete
Compressors build up pressure and supply process air for blowing in and blowing out; Becker names its KDT and DTLF compressors as well as SV and VASF for this. Becker lists the application of ready-mixed plaster with blast air, the inliner rehabilitation of drainage systems and foam concrete production as applications, without describing them.

Lifting: side channel or claw
Becker separates by task: side channel blowers (SV, 195 to 1,250 m³/h, −290 to −440 mbar) for tube and column lifters, claw vacuum pumps (BCV 100: 50 mbar, BCV 300: 150 mbar) for robotic pick & place. The load and the vacuum the suction cups need determine the choice.
Moisture and water
In screed drying, moist air is extracted; in groundwater lowering, an air-water mixture. For screed insulation drying, Becker names SV and VASF; for groundwater lowering, Becker describes the task but names no series.
Vacuum or pressure
Pneumatic conveying works with a pressure difference in the pipeline, blast air with compressors that supply process air (KDT, DTLF). For both, Becker also names SV and VASF – the application decides which side of the pressure difference is used.
