Becker KVT 3.140 – oil-free rotary vane vacuum pump for continuous operation

The KVT 3.140 delivers 129 m³/h at 50 Hz and 154 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches a vacuum of 100 mbar absolute (50 Hz) or 200 mbar (60 Hz). The installed motor power is 4.0 kW at 50 Hz and 4.5–4.8 kW at 60 Hz, the sound pressure level 76 dB(A) and 79 dB(A) respectively. The pump weighs 78 kg without motor; the overall length with motor is 829–966.5 mm depending on the motor, width 470 mm, height 336 mm. Suction and optional exhaust connection G 1 1/2".

Dry-running rotary vane principle

Without oil in the pumping chamber there are no oil changes and no oil mist in the exhaust air. Becker designs the KVT pumps for continuous operation; the motor drives the rotor directly via a common shaft, which keeps the design compact. The inlet filter, blow-off valve and vacuum regulating valve are integrated, and noise-reduction measures ensure quiet operation.

Design and maintenance

The robust construction is intended for long running times even under demanding conditions. Maintenance can be carried out on site, which keeps downtimes short. Numerous motor versions are available for the KVT 3.140.
