Becker KVX 3.60 – oil-free rotary vane vacuum pump of the X series

The KVX 3.60 delivers 55 m³/h at 50 Hz and 66 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches a vacuum of 100 mbar absolute. The installed motor power is 2.2 kW at 50 Hz and 2.6 kW at 60 Hz, the sound pressure level 71 dB(A) and 73 dB(A) respectively. The pump weighs 47 kg without motor; the overall length with motor is 704–747 mm depending on the motor, width 353 mm, height 328 mm. Suction and optional exhaust connection G 1".

Dry-running rotary vane principle

Without oil in the pumping chamber there are no oil changes and no oil mist in the exhaust air. Becker designs the KVX pumps for continuous operation; the motor drives the rotor directly via a common shaft, which keeps the design compact. The inlet filter, blow-off valve and vacuum regulating valve are integrated, and noise-reduction measures ensure quiet operation.

X series

For the X series Becker has developed a special vane material: the vanes achieve service lives of up to 20,000 operating hours or 3 years, and there is virtually no abrasion. Becker therefore describes the pumps as suitable for precision processes under clean-room conditions; the air flow is low in pulsation. Size, motor and connections correspond to the KVT 3.60.

Design and maintenance

The robust construction is intended for long running times even under demanding conditions. Maintenance can be carried out on site, which keeps downtimes short. Numerous motor versions are available for the KVX 3.60.
