Becker BCV 400 FD – dry claw vacuum pump

The BCV 400 FD delivers 400 m³/h at 50 Hz and 470 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches a vacuum of 200 mbar absolute. Installed motor power 7.5 kW at 50 Hz and 9.2 kW at 60 Hz, sound pressure level 73 / 75 dB(A). The pump weighs 258 kg without motor and 339–346 kg with motor (Becker catalogue 2026). Dimensions: 1248.5 × 520 × 527 mm (Becker catalogue 2026). Suction connection G 3" (or NPT 3"), exhaust connection G 2" (or NPT 2").

Contact-free claw principle

Two claw-shaped rotors rotate in opposite directions and without contact in the compression chamber. As a result the pump works without oil in the pumping chamber, with little wear and little maintenance; the exhaust air is oil-free.

Low overall height (FD)

The FD version is particularly low in height; according to Becker, the small space requirement makes it easier to integrate into existing systems.
