Operating principle

Liquid ring vacuum pumps, built with high-quality materials such as stainless steel and ceramics, are used predominantly in humid and wet processes. An eccentrically running impeller forms a liquid ring from the operating liquid, which draws in, compresses and discharges the gas. The pumps are extremely quiet, insensitive to condensate and low-wear.

Features of the series

  • Inlet manifold and discharge separator as standard – small footprint
  • Single-stage, high-efficiency impeller, variable port opening for optimum efficiency at all inlet pressures
  • Internal water recirculation for lower water consumption; internal and external seal flushing possible
  • Bearing design for tight clearances and better pumping performance; mechanical seals as standard
  • Water as the operating liquid: isothermal compression, insensitive to vapour, condensate, liquid carry-over and particles
  • Materials: grey cast iron, stainless steel fitted, SS 304 or SS 316L; DIN or ANSI flanges
