The Atlas Copco AWL series comprises 11 liquid ring vacuum pumps with nominal pumping speeds from 4290 to 36,600 m³/h (50 Hz) and an ultimate pressure of 160 mbar.

Operating principle

Liquid ring vacuum pumps, built with high-quality materials such as stainless steel and ceramics, are used predominantly in humid and wet processes. An eccentrically running impeller forms a liquid ring from the operating liquid, which draws in, compresses and discharges the gas. The pumps are extremely quiet, insensitive to condensate and low-wear.
