The Becker VT 4.16 is a dry-running rotary vane vacuum pump with a pumping speed of 16 m³/h at 50 Hz (19 m³/h at 60 Hz) and a vacuum down to 150 mbar absolute. Becker VT 4.16 – oil-free rotary vane vacuum pump for rough vacuum

The VT 4.16 delivers 16 m³/h at 50 Hz and 19 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches a vacuum of 150 mbar absolute. The installed motor power is 0.55 kW at 50 Hz and 0.66–0.7 kW at 60 Hz (depending on the motor). The sound pressure level is 61 dB(A) (50 Hz) or 64 dB(A) (60 Hz), the weight with motor approx. 22.5 kg, depending on the motor. Dimensions 445 × 232.5 × 213.5 mm (L × W × H), suction connection G 1/2".

Dry-running rotary vane principle

The pump is designed for continuous operation in the rough vacuum range. Its self-lubricating vanes run without oil – there is no oil change, and the conveyed air stays free of oil. This makes the VT 4.16 a solution for applications that require a clean environment. The operating point can be set with the integrated vacuum regulating valve.

Design and equipment

The motor drives the rotor directly via the motor shaft – this keeps the pump compact and makes installation easier. The robust design is intended for long running times even under demanding conditions, and maintenance can be carried out on site.
