Becker VXLF 2.200 – oil-free rotary vane vacuum pump of the X series

The VXLF 2.200 delivers 178 m³/h at 50 Hz and 218 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches a vacuum of 200 mbar absolute. The installed motor power is 4.0 kW at 50 Hz and 4.8 kW at 60 Hz, the sound pressure level 75 dB(A) and 77 dB(A) respectively. Without motor the pump weighs 151 kg; the overall length with motor is 1174 mm depending on the motor, width 644 mm, height 528 mm. Suction connection G 2 1/2", exhaust connection G 2".

Dry-running rotary vane principle

The pump works without oil in the pumping chamber; there are no oil changes. The vacuum safety valve and the blow-off valve are each fitted with a silencer, and the inlet filter is integrated. Effective noise-reduction measures ensure quiet operation.

X series

For the X series Becker has developed a special vane material: the vanes achieve service lives of up to 20,000 operating hours or 3 years, and there is virtually no abrasion. Becker therefore describes the pumps as suitable for precision processes under clean-room conditions. Size, motor and connections correspond to the VTLF 2.200.

Maintenance

The transparent filter cover shows contamination at once, and the enlarged filter area allows longer change intervals. Maintenance can be carried out on site, so downtimes stay short. The robust design is intended for long running times even under demanding conditions.
