Becker VASF 2.80/2 – VARIAIR Speed Flow side channel blower

The VASF 2.80/2 is a two-stage, air-cooled side channel blower with VARIAIR frequency converter. It delivers up to 45 m³/h (frequency 50–250 Hz) and, depending on the version, reaches down to −570 mbar relative in suction operation or up to +570 mbar relative in pressure operation. Dimensions 391 × 176 × 291 mm (AC); 391 × 173 × 268 mm (DC 48 V), suction and pressure connection G 1 1/4".

Versions

Becker offers the VASF 2.80/2 for various supply voltages and as a gas-tight compressor version:

• AC 200–230 V (-0.AC230): vacuum down to −500 mbar, pressure up to +570 mbar, 1.1 kW, max. 10 A, 61 dB(A), 15 kg
• DC 48 V (-0.DC048): vacuum down to −570 mbar, pressure up to +570 mbar, 1.1 kW, max. 25 A, 65 dB(A), 14.7 kg
• Gas-tight (-1.AC230): 45 m³/h, max. pressure ratio 1.57 p/p, 1.1 kW, 59 dB(A), 14 kg, connections DN 40 ISO-KF; leak rate < 1 × 10⁻⁵ mbar·l/s (helium leak test, whole unit), pressure ratio measured for air

Speed control and contact-free compression

The volume flow can be set precisely via the speed. The impeller rotates without contact and the sealed bearings need no lubrication – the blower works oil-free.
