Atlas Copco Oils & Lubricants
Genuine fluids straight from Ehrler & Beck stock

Why genuine Atlas Copco oils are indispensable

  • Precise vapour pressure window – Every formulation is proven on Atlas Copco pumps on the test bench. This keeps back-diffusion at the low level that high-vacuum stages and clean exhaust systems demand.

  • Additive chemistry proven on OEM hardware – Antioxidants, metal passivators, anti-foam agents and corrosion inhibitors are blended to ISO 6743-3 type VDL and then endurance-tested on Atlas Copco rotor and bearing test rigs.

  • Certified oil change intervals – Field data show a 20–30 % longer service life than with “universal fluids”. This significantly reduces the annual budget and downtime.

  • Audit-ready traceability – Every container comes with a batch certificate (CoA) stating viscosity, water content and TAN – compliant with ISO 9001, GMP and MDR.

  • Available immediately – All items are physically in stock in our warehouse and listed with a real-time stock display on ehrler-beck.shop.

Ester oils – high-temperature performance with minimal backstreaming

Typical applications

  • Screw backing pumps with exhaust temperatures > 90 °C
  • Processes with aggressive, oxygen-containing solvents (acetone, MEK, ethyl acetate)
  • Backing pumps for turbomolecular stages in analytical instruments

PFPE oil – ultimate chemical
and oxygen resistance

Product

Product Order no. Container size
PFPE oil (fully fluorinated) 3001170199 1 L

Critical applications

  • Oxygen service in medical gas compressors
  • Semiconductor plasma etching and corrosive gas flows (Cl₂, SF₆)
  • Isotope handling in nuclear medicine, where absolute non-flammability is required

Physical properties

  • Base oil: perfluoropolyether; viscosity 180 mm²/s at 20 °C
  • Vapour pressure not measurable (< 1 × 10⁻¹⁰ mbar) up to 200 °C
  • Non-flammable (Limiting Oxygen Index > 95 %, ASTM D2863)

Maintenance strategy

  • Oil change interval up to 12 000 h; mandatory interim analysis (FT-IR, TAN, metal wear) after 4 000 h
  • Use only PFPE-compatible elastomers (FFKM, PTFE)
  • Mixing with mineral, ester or PAO oils is not possible – even slight contamination produces sludge, so once filled, pumps must be converted to PFPE permanently
