Atlas Copco GVS 220 A – 200 m³/h at 0.1 mbar(a)

From this size upwards, the ultimate pressure of the GVS A range drops to 0.1 mbar(a) (with the gas ballast open 0.7 mbar(a)). The GVS 220 A delivers 200 m³/h at 50 Hz and 240 m³/h at 60 Hz; the motor delivers 4.5 kW and 5.1 kW respectively. Dimensions with inlet filter 1027 × 549 × 681 mm, net mass 180 kg, oil filling 7.5 l. Inlet and outlet have a G 2" female thread.

High water vapour pumping rate

For the GVS 220 A, the operating instructions state a maximum water vapour pumping rate of 5 kg/h with standard gas ballast; the permissible water vapour inlet pressure is 10 mbar(a), with large gas ballast 40 mbar(a). The mean sound pressure level is 69 dB(A) (50 Hz) and 73 dB(A) (60 Hz).

Variants of the GVS 220 A

The GVS 220 A is available from Ehrler & Beck in five variants (part numbers 3002615010, 3002615012, 1625213625, 3002615056, 3002615058). Atlas Copco distinguishes between European and world versions with different motors and voltage ranges, including two with an NPT thread. The motor power is 4.5 kW at 50 Hz and 5.1 kW at 60 Hz; the net mass according to the operating instructions is 180 kg.
