Atlas Copco GVS 300 A – the largest direct-driven GVS A

The GVS 300 A delivers 280 m³/h at 50 Hz and 340 m³/h at 60 Hz with an ultimate pressure of 0.1 mbar(a) (with open gas ballast 0.7 mbar(a)). The motor delivers 5.5 kW at 50 Hz and 6.3 kW at 60 Hz. With inlet filter the Europe version measures 1160 × 555 × 683 mm; the world version is 1120 mm long. Net mass 224 kg, oil filling 8.5 to 11.5 l, connections G 2" female thread.

Large gas ballast as an accessory

With standard gas ballast a water vapour inlet pressure of 10 mbar(a) is permissible, with large gas ballast 70 mbar(a) – the highest value in the range; the large gas ballast is listed as an accessory. The GVS 300 A is also provided without motor and as an O2 version (ultimate pressure 1 mbar(a), with open gas ballast 1.5 mbar(a)).

As fields of application for the GVS A, Atlas Copco lists, among others, packaging, wood processing, rubber, plastics, electronics, paper and printing, and material handling.

Variants of the GVS 300 A

The GVS 300 A is available from Ehrler & Beck in six variants (part numbers 8153316065, 8153316073, 8153316107, 8153316883, 3002615031, 3002615038). Atlas Copco distinguishes between European and world versions with different motors and voltage ranges; for North America there are versions with NPT connections and for 575 V 60 Hz. The motor power is 5.5 kW at 50 Hz and 6.3 kW at 60 Hz; the net mass according to the operating instructions is 224 kg.
