Atlas Copco GVS 630 A – 700 m³/h with belt drive and guided vanes

The GVS 630 A delivers 700 m³/h at 50 Hz and 840 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches 0.1 mbar(a) (with open gas ballast 0.7 mbar(a)). Unlike the smaller models, it is belt-driven; the rotor runs at only 820 rpm (60 Hz: 1000 rpm). The motor delivers 15 kW or 18.5 kW. With inlet filter the pump measures 1567 × 909 × 1068 mm; the net mass is 760 kg and the oil filling 20 to 23 l. Inlet and outlet: DN 100 ISO-K / DN 100 PN 10.

Special design features

For the GVS 630 A, Atlas Copco highlights guided vanes – for less noise and a longer service life of vanes and stator – as well as comb lubrication, which ensures even rotor temperatures. At 17 kg/h the water vapour pumping rate is the highest in the range.

Variants of the GVS 630 A

The GVS 630 A is available from Ehrler & Beck in five variants (part numbers 8153316180, 8153316909, 3002615033, 3002615039, 8153316198). Atlas Copco distinguishes between European and world versions with different motors and voltage ranges; for North America there are versions with NPT connections and for 575 V 60 Hz. The motor power is 15 kW at 50 Hz and 18.5 kW at 60 Hz; the net mass according to the operating instructions is 760 kg.
