Atlas Copco GVS 25 A – more pumping speed with the same dimensions

The GVS 25 A shares its dimensions (440 × 267 × 347 mm with inlet filter), motor power (0.75 kW at 50 Hz, 0.9 kW at 60 Hz) and oil filling (2 l) with the GVS 16 A, but delivers 25 m³/h at 50 Hz and 29 m³/h at 60 Hz. The ultimate pressure is 0.5 mbar(a) without and 1.5 mbar(a) with the gas ballast open. The connections are designed as G 1/2" female threads.

Water vapour and gas ballast

According to the operating instructions, with standard gas ballast the GVS 25 A tolerates a water vapour inlet pressure of 15 mbar(a) and pumps up to 0.08 kg/h of water vapour. The mean sound pressure level is 59 dB(A) at a distance of 1 m.

Variants of the GVS 25 A

The GVS 25 A is available from Ehrler & Beck in four variants (part numbers 8153315786, 8153315794, 8153316776, 8153316784). Atlas Copco distinguishes between European and world versions with different motors and voltage ranges, including two with a single-phase motor and one with an NPT thread. The motor power is 0.75 kW at 50 Hz and 0.9 kW at 60 Hz; the net mass according to the operating instructions is 25 kg.
