Atlas Copco GVS 100 A – the middle of the range with 98 m³/h

The GVS 100 A reaches 98 m³/h at 50 Hz and 117 m³/h at 60 Hz with an ultimate pressure of 0.5 mbar(a) (with open gas ballast 1.5 mbar(a)). The motor delivers 2.2 kW at 50 Hz and 3.5 kW at 60 Hz. In the Europe version the pump with inlet filter measures 762 × 398 × 488 mm; in the world version it is 791 mm long. Net mass 93 kg, oil filling 2 l, connections G 1 1/4" female thread.

Continuous operation at any inlet pressure

According to Atlas Copco, oil retention and oil return are designed so that the pumps of the GVS A range can work continuously between atmospheric pressure and ultimate pressure; a bypass valve in the exhaust filters protects against excessive overpressure. The GVS 100 A is also provided without motor and as an O2 version (ultimate pressure 1 mbar(a), with open gas ballast 2.5 mbar(a)).

Variants of the GVS 100 A

The GVS 100 A is available from Ehrler & Beck in five variants (part numbers 8153315901, 8153315919, 8153316842, 3002615036, 3002615028). Atlas Copco distinguishes between European and world versions with different motors and voltage ranges; for North America there are versions with NPT connections and for 575 V 60 Hz. The motor power is 2.2 kW at 50 Hz and 3.5 kW at 60 Hz; the net mass according to the operating instructions is 93 kg.
