Atlas Copco DZS 065A – the smallest claw pump of the second DZS generation

The DZS 065A delivers 65 m³/h at 50 Hz and 78 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches 50 mbar(a) in continuous operation. The motor delivers 1.8 kW (60 Hz: 2.2 kW). Atlas Copco states 879 × 401 × 501 mm (L × W × H) and a unit weight of 153 kg (IE3 motor) / 154 kg (IE4 motor). Connection is via G 1 1/4" at the inlet and outlet; the 60 Hz versions are supplied with NPT adapters.

Dry, contact-free, low-maintenance

The pump runs without oil in the pumping chamber – there is no contaminated oil to dispose of. Only the gearbox is filled with 0.7 l of oil. According to Atlas Copco, long-life bearings and seals, a separate, isolated pump element and the easily accessible pump chamber make maintenance easier.

Applications of the range

For the DZS A range, Atlas Copco lists, among others, CNC milling and clamping, plastics processing (pneumatic conveying, extrusion), vacuum sewage systems, drying, sterilisation, pick-and-place and central vacuum systems.

Variants of the DZS 065A

The DZS 065A is available from Ehrler & Beck in twelve variants (part numbers 3002615213, 3002615214, 3002615215, 3002615216, 3002615217, 3002615218, 3002615220, 3002615328, 3081500048, 3002615257, 3002615260, 3002615259): three for 50 Hz, three for 60 Hz and two without motor. The motor power is 1.8 kW at 50 Hz and 2.2 kW at 60 Hz; the 50 Hz version with 400 V is additionally available with an IE4 motor. In addition there are four oxygen versions (O2): 400 V 50 Hz with IE4 motor as well as 380 V, 230/460 V and 575 V at 60 Hz.
