Atlas Copco DZS 1200 VSD+ – up to 1140 m³/h, dry and air-cooled

According to the brochure, the DZS 1200 VSD+ reaches up to 1140 m³/h with an ultimate pressure of 200 mbar(a) in continuous operation. The motor delivers 22 kW; the operating instructions state 1200–3600 rpm (20–60 Hz). Dimensions 1460 × 680 × 1284 mm (L × W × H), unit weight 806 kg (IEC) / 832 kg (NEMA). Inlet DN 100 PN 6, outlet DN 100 PN 10.

Frequency inverter for wall mounting

According to the operating instructions, the frequency inverter of the DZS 1200 VSD+ is mounted separately on the wall. The pump itself is single-stage, oil-free in the pumping chamber and air-cooled; a non-return valve in the inlet prevents the inlet air from flowing back.

Controlled performance

Pressure setpoint control and variable speed match the pump to the load of the process. According to Atlas Copco, it can work continuously at ultimate vacuum level without overheating.

Version of the DZS 1200 VSD+

Ehrler & Beck lists the DZS 1200 VSD+ under part number 1905199905 as an IEC version for 380 to 460 V 50/60 Hz with wall-mounted frequency inverter, and as a NEMA version for 460 V 60 Hz made in the USA (1951001106). The operating instructions state 806 kg for the IEC version and 832 kg for the NEMA version.
