TRIVAC D 12 L – two-stage pump with 12 m³/h

The Leybold TRIVAC D 12 L delivers a pumping speed of 12 m³/h at 50 Hz (nominal pumping speed 14.2 m³/h) with an ultimate total pressure of 2 × 10⁻³ mbar without gas ballast. For the TRIVAC L series, Leybold names laboratory equipment, spectrometers and leak detectors, freeze drying, leak detection systems, and cleaning or oil degassing processes as fields of application. The D 12 L is designed for 50 Hz mains supplies and is available with a single-phase or three-phase motor.

Design and function

The TRIVAC L is Leybold's new generation of air-cooled, two-stage rotary vane vacuum pumps with an optimised thermal design. The patented oil casing reduces heat dissipation to the surroundings, lowers the oil temperature and extends the oil service life; a sight glass allows the oil condition to be checked daily, and a drain valve makes frequent oil changes easier. The gas ballast can be operated in two positions: ultimate total pressure 3 × 10⁻² mbar (position 1) / 6 × 10⁻² mbar (position 2), water vapour tolerance 5 mbar (position 1) / 28 mbar (position 2), water vapour capacity 0.04 kg/h (position 1) / 0.25 kg/h (position 2). The inlet and outlet are DN 25 ISO-KF, and the standard filling is mineral oil LEYBONOL LVO 130 (0.75 – 1 l).

The TRIVAC D 12 L is available from Ehrler & Beck in two variants (part numbers 15190012V00CJL, 15190012V02CJL). The rated motor power is 0.37 kW (50 Hz), the weight ranges from 27.5 to 28 kg.
