Leybold SOGEVAC SV 65 BI FC – rotary vane pump for analytical applications

The SOGEVAC SV 65 BI FC delivers at least 50 m³/h at 2 mbar and is designed for mass spectrometers. The frequency converter with RS-485 interface controls the rotational speed, limits the mains and inrush current and allows operation from a normal single-phase socket. For ICP-MS instruments there is the PFPE version with LVO 420. Nominal pumping speed: 71 m³/h (50/60 Hz); pumping speed: ≥ 50 m³/h at 2 mbar (50/60 Hz). The pump measures 521 × 351 × 386 mm and weighs 58 kg with oil filling; the noise level is ≤ 60 dB(A).

Typical applications

For the analytical series Leybold names, among others, ICP-MS and LC/MS instruments and use as a backing pump for turbomolecular pumps. All pumps have an integrated anti-suckback valve, integrated lubrication with oil return without external oil lines and a low noise level thanks to low rotational speeds.
