Leybold SOGEVAC SV 16 D – rotary vane pump with a pumping speed of 14.5 m³/h

The SOGEVAC SV 16 D belongs to the D series with increased oil volume: 2 litres of oil – according to Leybold up to four times more than in comparable pumps – extend the oil service life. A new air cooling concept keeps the pump temperature low, and additional water cooling is optional for rough applications; the low rotational speed of 1440 min⁻¹ results in 59 dB(A). The pumping speed is 14.5 m³/h at 50 Hz and 17 m³/h at 60 Hz (nominal pumping speed 16 m³/h at 50 Hz). The pump measures 268 × 247 × 440 mm, weighs 25 kg with oil filling and operates at 59 dB(A) at 50 Hz.

The SOGEVAC SV 16 D is available from Ehrler & Beck in 13 variants (part numbers 960181V, 960180V, 960185V, 960184V, 960186V, 960186V1705, 960180V2065, 960181V2041, 960181V3002, 960183V2065, 960184V3002, 960185V3002, 960185V3003). The maximum motor power is 0.75 kW at 50 Hz and 0.9 kW at 60 Hz. The variants differ in motor and mains voltage, in the gas ballast equipment and in the oil filling; the table of each variant gives Leybold's designation of the version.
