Leybold SOGEVAC SV 16 B – rotary vane pump with a pumping speed of 15 m³/h

The SOGEVAC SV 16 B uses the same compact housing as the SV 10 B but, at 15 m³/h, reaches a considerably higher pumping speed and, at ≤ 1.0 mbar, a better ultimate pressure. Leybold supplies it with a three-phase wide-range motor or with a single-phase motor for 230 V or 115 V. The pumping speed is 15 m³/h at 50 Hz and 17 m³/h at 60 Hz (nominal pumping speed 16 m³/h at 50 Hz). The pump measures 315 × 281 × 199 mm, weighs 20.5 kg with oil filling and operates at 62 dB(A) at 50 Hz.

Variants of the SOGEVAC SV 16 B

The SOGEVAC SV 16 B is available from Ehrler & Beck in seven variants (part numbers 960160, 960160V3002, 960160V3003, 960165, 960165V3002, 960170, 960175). The maximum motor power is 0.55 kW at 50 Hz and 0.75 kW at 60 Hz. The variants differ in motor and mains voltage, in the gas ballast equipment and in the oil filling; the table of each variant gives Leybold's designation of the version.
