Leybold SOGEVAC SV 120 BI FC – rotary vane pump for analytical applications

The SOGEVAC SV 120 BI FC is the largest backing pump of the analytical series: at least 147 m³/h nominal pumping speed from a single-phase connection, made possible by the frequency converter with current limitation. The pump stands on castors and has two foldable handles, so that one person can unpack and move it without lifting equipment. Start/stop and rotational speed can be controlled and status data read out via RS 485. Nominal pumping speed: ≥ 147 m³/h (50/60 Hz); pumping speed at 2 mbar: ≥ 100 m³/h with inlet DN 50 ISO-KF, ≥ 90 m³/h with inlet DN 40 ISO-KF. The pump measures 733 × 470 × 483 mm and weighs 98 kg with oil filling; the noise level is ≤ 61 dB(A).

Typical applications

For the analytical series Leybold names, among others, ICP-MS and LC/MS instruments and use as a backing pump for turbomolecular pumps. All pumps have an integrated anti-suckback valve, integrated lubrication with oil return without external oil lines and a low noise level thanks to low rotational speeds.
