The Leybold TRIVAC D 8 B is a two-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump of the TRIVAC B series with a pumping speed of 8.5 m³/h (50 Hz) and an ultimate pressure of ≤ 2 × 10⁻³ mbar. Gas ballast, a pressure-independent oil pump and low oil backstreaming make it a proven pump for analytical instruments, leak detectors, laboratories and medical technology. TRIVAC D 8 B – two-stage rotary vane pump with 8.5 m³/h
The Leybold TRIVAC D 8 B pumps 8.5 m³/h at 50 Hz and 10.2 m³/h at 60 Hz (nominal pumping speed 9.7 m³/h) and reaches an ultimate total pressure of ≤ 2 × 10⁻³ mbar without gas ballast. It uses the same DN 16 ISO-KF connections and the same accessories as the TRIVAC D 4 B. The fields of application named by Leybold for the TRIVAC B series include analytical instruments, leak detectors, chemical and research laboratories, medical technology, sterilisation and fore vacuum for high vacuum pump systems.Design and function
The motor and pump of the TRIVAC D 8 B are connected by a flexible coupling; together with the noise-optimised design, this results in a noise level of 50 / 52 dB(A) (without / with gas ballast). The built-in oil pump takes care of lubrication, cooling and particle transport and permits continuous operation up to an inlet pressure of 1000 mbar. The oil-pressure-controlled anti-suckback valve minimises oil backstreaming at standstill. Water vapour tolerance 25 mbar, water vapour capacity 160 g/h (50 Hz) / 190 g/h (60 Hz), oil filling 0.3 / 0.9 l. The inner body can be exchanged as a whole.Variants of the TRIVAC D 8 B
