Leybold DRYVAC DV 300 – more pumping speed and lower ultimate pressure in the DV 200 format

The DRYVAC DV 300 shares its housing, weight (around 370 kg) and dimensions (1115 × 612 × 478 mm) with the DV 200, but delivers 280 m³/h and, at < 1 × 10⁻² mbar, reaches a significantly lower ultimate pressure. The rated power is 7.5 kW, the power consumption at ultimate pressure 4.5 kW. In its catalogue, Leybold describes the DRYVAC as the energy benchmark in the 300 class. Connections: DN 63 ISO-K on the inlet side, DN 40 ISO-KF on the outlet side. Cooling is by water (8 l/min); the noise level with silencer is 65 dB(A). Water vapour tolerance 50 mbar, water vapour capacity 5 kg/h.

For mains supplies of 380–460 V or 200–240 V

According to Leybold, the DV 200 and DV 300 are available for 200–240 V and for 380–460 V with an integrated, intelligent frequency converter. They have an automatically controlled sealing gas supply for the vacuum-side shaft seal as well as I/O (15-pin Sub-D) and RS485 (9-pin Sub-D) interfaces.

Typical applications

Metallurgy, coating, drying, solar, chamber evacuation and load-lock operation; as a backing pump for RUVAC Roots pumps with a suitable adapter.

Variants of the DRYVAC DV 300

The DRYVAC DV 300 is available from Ehrler & Beck in four variants (part numbers 112030V15, 112030V19, 112030V14, 14640300V90DGN). The rated power is 7.5 kW for all variants, the mains voltage ranges from 200–240 V to 380–460 V (50/60 Hz) and the weight is around 370 kg.
