The Leybold TRIVAC D 65 B is the largest size in the TRIVAC B series: a two-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump with a pumping speed of 65 m³/h (50 Hz), DN 40 ISO-KF connections and an ultimate pressure of ≤ 2 × 10⁻³ mbar. The water vapour capacity of 1925 g/h and the 2.2 kW motor make it ideally suited for furnaces, metallurgy, freeze drying and as a backing pump for Roots pumps. TRIVAC D 65 B – the largest TRIVAC B
The Leybold TRIVAC D 65 B, with 65 m³/h at 50 Hz and 78 m³/h at 60 Hz (nominal pumping speed 75 m³/h), is the most powerful pump in the TRIVAC B series; without gas ballast it reaches ≤ 2 × 10⁻³ mbar. It shares its housing, DN 40 ISO-KF connections, motor and accessories with the TRIVAC D 40 B, including the Roots pump adapter for RUVAC WA(U)/WS(U) 251 and 501.Design and function
Like all larger TRIVAC B pumps, the D 65 B has integrated cooling with a cooling channel and a motor-driven fan. The built-in oil pump lubricates independently of pressure and permits continuous operation up to an inlet pressure of 1000 mbar; the oil-pressure-controlled anti-suckback valve minimises oil backstreaming. Water vapour tolerance 40 mbar, water vapour capacity 1925 g/h (50 Hz) / 2310 g/h (60 Hz), oil filling 2.0 / 3.3 l, noise level 57 / 59 dB(A) (without / with gas ballast).
