Atlas Copco GHS 902 VSD+ – 917 m³/h on 890 × 1040 mm

The GHS 902 VSD+ delivers a nominal displacement of 917 m³/h, 814 m³/h at 75 mbar and 722 m³/h at 800 mbar; ultimate pressure 0.35 mbar(a), rated motor power 15 kW. Dimensions 890 × 1040 × 1269 mm (L × W × H), weight 600 kg, inlet and outlet flange DN 100 PN 10. All data are marked as preliminary by Atlas Copco. The brochure also names a GHS 1002 VSD+ (1039 m³/h, 18.5 kW), for which the shop does not yet list a part number.

Designed for long operating times

For the screw element, Atlas Copco states up to 100,000 hours of maintenance-free operation in normal applications. Compared with the previous generation, the manufacturer promises up to 25 % lower operating costs.

Applications of the range

The applications listed are woodworking, food packaging (rotary machines, inline tray sealers, central vacuum systems), waste water, cooling, clay, plastics forming, pasta, semiconductors and beer filling.

Variants of the GHS 902 VSD+

The GHS 902 VSD+ is listed in four variants (part numbers 8153690273, 8153690277, 8153690281, 8153690285), all with synthetic oil and HEX@ controller:

• Standard version
• Turbo version: motor of the next power rating (18.5 kW instead of 15 kW) and higher peak volume flow at 800 mbar (827 instead of 722 m³/h) with unchanged nominal displacement
• Humid version for humid processes: according to Atlas Copco it works with external filtration as an extension of the pump
• Turbo Humid version

As further versions, the brochure lists stainless steel, energy recovery and a version for high ambient temperatures (HAV); the shop does not yet list part numbers for these.
