Leybold CLAWVAC CP 1000 – claw technology for central vacuum systems
The
CLAWVAC CP 1000 delivers 950 m³/h at 50 Hz and 1140 m³/h at 60 Hz with an ultimate pressure of 200 mbar (50 Hz) or 150 mbar (60 Hz). With motor it measures 1444 × 680 × 1274 mm (without motor 1169 × 680 × 1274 mm) and is connected via DN 100 PN 6 (inlet) and DN 100 PN 10 (outlet) flanges. Noise level: 82 dB(A) at 50 Hz, 85 dB(A) at 60 Hz.
Coated, air-cooled, easy to service
The pumping chamber and claws are coated and corrosion-resistant; the oil does not come into contact with the process medium. The air-cooled design works at ambient temperatures up to 40 °C, an inspection opening for the coupling and fan simplifies maintenance, and the ultimate pressure is adjustable (factory setting 200 mbar).
Typical applications
Central vacuum supply for packaging lines, wood and plastics industry, degassing, material transport and environmental technology.
Variants of the CLAWVAC CP 1000
The
CLAWVAC CP 1000 is available from Ehrler & Beck in five variants (part numbers 10791000V02, 10791000V03, 10791000V04, 10791000V00, 10791000V01). The motor power ranges from 18.5 kW to 22 kW; motors for 50 Hz and 60 Hz and versions without motor are available. The weight ranges from 615 kg (without motor) to 791 kg.
Features of the CLAWVAC series
- Dry and contact-free: wear-free pumping chamber, no oil in contact with the process
- Robust: corrosion-resistant claws and coated pumping chamber, insensitive to water vapour and water slugs
- Fully cleanable: housing and claws can be removed without resetting the gear synchronisation
- Drainable silencer: condensate can be removed through the drain
- Continuous operation at any inlet pressure: from ultimate pressure up to atmospheric pressure
- Suitable for frequency converters: operating range 20 to 60 Hz
