Leybold NOVADRY ND 65 – the smallest oil-free screw pump for food and packaging

The NOVADRY ND 65 achieves a maximum pumping speed of 63 m³/h and an ultimate pressure of 0.1 mbar without gas ballast. With 1.5 kW motor power, 630 × 488 × 315 mm and 85 kg, it is designed for installation in machines. The noise level is 67 dB(A) in the 50 Hz version and 70 dB(A) in the 60 Hz version.

Food safety without oil

Leybold developed the NOVADRY as a replacement for oil-sealed rotary vane pumps in the food industry: with no oil in the pumping chamber, neither the workplace nor the product can be contaminated, and no oil escapes into the environment through the exhaust.

Typical applications

Double-chamber packaging machines with frequent pump-down cycles, tumblers, filling machines (stuffers) and thermoformers – wherever the pump is built into the machine.

Variants of the NOVADRY ND 65

The NOVADRY ND 65 is available from Ehrler & Beck in three variants (part numbers 111065N10, 111065N11, 111065N21). The motor power is 1.5 kW for all variants; the mains voltage ranges from 200/400 V at 50 Hz to 230/460 V or 200/380 V at 60 Hz. Depending on the mains frequency, the noise level is 67 to 70 dB(A); the weight is 85 kg.
