Edwards GXS450/4200 – dry screw pump with integrated Roots booster
The GXS series combines its own screw technology with high-efficiency drives and advanced temperature control. The GXS450/4200 reaches 3026 m³/h and an ultimate pressure below 1 × 10⁻³ mbar; it can be operated continuously up to atmospheric pressure. The motor power is 11 kW pump + 7.5 kW booster.Features

The 9 versions differ in the mains voltage (LV 200–230 V, HV 380–460 V), the purge gas package (LD, MD, MD+) and the installation (outlet at the side on skids or at the rear on castors); in addition there is an ATEX version (category 3, T2). The gas load and the purge gas quantities for each package are given in the Edwards operating instructions.
