Edwards GXS series
The Edwards GXS series comprises 10 screw vacuum pumps with nominal pumping speeds from 160 to 3450 m³/h (50 Hz) and ultimate pressures down to 1 × 10⁻³ mbar (depending on the model).

Dry screw vacuum pumps convey the gas from the inlet to the outlet with two screw rotors that intermesh without contact. The pump chamber is oil-free; the pumps reach rough and medium vacuum in a single stage, are insensitive to water vapour and particles and are suitable for continuous operation.

- Shafts supported in bearings at both ends (no cantilevered arrangement) for very low vibration and reliable starting even in harsh processes
- Good powder handling capability; extensive accessories such as inlet filters, automatic inlet shut-off valves and silencers
