DZS 500 V without motor, IEC flange 50 Hz

Atlas Copco DZS 500 V – contact-free claw pump for high water vapour loads

The DZS 500 V delivers 500 m³/h at 50 Hz and 600 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches 200 mbar(a) in continuous operation. The flange-mounted motor delivers 9.2 kW (60 Hz: 11 kW) and drives the pump directly via a coupling. Dimensions of the 50 Hz version: 1252 × 586 × 845 mm (L × W × H); unit weight 397 kg (50 Hz) / 429 kg (60 Hz); without motor 309 / 313 kg. Inlet G 3", outlet G 2 1/2".

Modular design with PEEKCOAT

Pump chamber and gear chamber are separated by labyrinth seals. According to Atlas Copco, the PEEKCOAT coating on parts in contact with the process and on the rotors makes the pump suitable for difficult applications with high water vapour loads. A non-return valve in the inlet flange prevents air from flowing back into the vacuum chamber when the pump is switched off.

In addition to the complete pumps for 50 and 60 Hz there are versions without motor with IEC flange.

Variants of the DZS 500 V

The DZS 500 V is available from Ehrler & Beck in eight variants (part numbers 1905199900, 1905199901, 1905199906, 1905199907, 1905199913, 1951001101, 1951001103, 1951001123): one for 50 Hz, four for 60 Hz and three without motor. The motors are IE4 motors; the three US versions (1951001101, 1951001103, 1951001123) for 60 Hz have IE3 motors with 11 kW (230/460 V or 575 V) or no motor. The motor power is 9.2 kW at 50 Hz and 11 kW at 60 Hz.
