The Atlas Copco DWS 160/1750 VSD+ is a combination of the variable-speed screw vacuum pump DWS 160 VSD+ and a Roots pump mounted on top, with a pumping speed of up to 1200 m³/h and an ultimate pressure of 1 × 10⁻³ mbar. Atlas Copco DWS 160/1750 VSD+ – screw pump and booster in one unit

The DWS 160/1750 VSD+ reaches a pumping speed of up to 1200 m³/h and an ultimate pressure of 1 × 10⁻³ mbar(a). At ultimate pressure it draws 5.1 kW, at full pumping capacity 7.4 kW; the installed power is 7.5 kW (screw pump) + 4.5 kW (booster). Dimensions 1265 × 520 × 827 mm (L × W × H), weight 514 kg, inlet DN 100 ISO-F, outlet DN 40 ISO-KF. The sound pressure level is below 64 dB(A).

Combined at the factory

For processes that need a high pumping speed at high pressures and at the same time a low ultimate pressure, Atlas Copco combines the screw pump with a Roots pump. The pumping speed thus rises to up to 1200 m³/h and the ultimate pressure drops to 1 × 10⁻³ mbar.
