Operating principle

Dry screw vacuum pumps convey the gas from the inlet to the outlet with two screw rotors that intermesh without contact. The pump chamber is oil-free; the pumps reach rough and medium vacuum in a single stage, are insensitive to water vapour and particles and are suitable for continuous operation.

Features of the series

  • Rotors supported by bearings at both ends (no overhung bearing arrangement): fast start-up, very low vibration
  • Elektronikon® controller with remote monitoring; I/O, fieldbus and IoT connectivity
  • Integrated frequency inverter (VSD+): the speed follows the process, setpoint and speed control save energy under varying load
  • Compact metal enclosure, fully wired and ready for connection (plug and play)
  • Constant-flow water cooling, manually adjustable gas ballast, non-contact long-life seals
  • Dry pump chamber, gearbox protected against contamination, bearings with special low-vapour-pressure oil (PFPE)
