Leybold RUVAC WH 700 – water-cooled Roots pump with 710 m³/h nominal pumping speed
The RUVAC WH 700 is the smallest Roots pump in the water-cooled WH series. Its hermetically encapsulated motor needs no shaft seal to atmosphere; the integral leak rate is below 1 × 10⁻⁵ mbar·l/s. With an external frequency converter, the pump can be operated between 20 and 120 Hz – the nominal pumping speed rises from 710 m³/h at 50 Hz to 1730 m³/h at 120 Hz. Leybold gives the performance data with a SOGEVAC SV 300 B as the backing pump. The nominal pumping speed is 710 m³/h at 50 Hz and 860 m³/h at 60 Hz, the maximum effective pumping speed 620 and 740 m³/h respectively. In the standard version the pump measures 709 × 265 × 270 mm, weighs 125 kg and is connected via DN 100 ISO-K (inlet) and DN 63 ISO-K (outlet); the noise level is below 56 dB(A).Typical applications
Leybold developed the WH series for applications with high demands on operating pressure, cycle time and system availability: display production, solar industry, furnace construction, industrial coating, research and space simulation. The RUVAC WH 700 is available from Ehrler & Beck in nine variants (part numbers 155205V, 155204V, 155207V, 155209V, 155203, 155202, 155208V, 167186V, 167189V). The motor power ranges from 2.2 kW to 3.8 kW. Available oil fillings: ester oil LEYBONOL LVO 210, PFPE LEYBONOL LVO 400.
