Leybold RUVAC WA 1001 – Roots pump with 1000 m³/h nominal pumping speed
The RUVAC WA 1001 is the medium size of the WA series, with DN 100 ISO-K connection flanges and a 4 kW motor of efficiency class IE3. Designed without a pressure equalisation line, it is switched on at a fore-vacuum pressure of about 60 mbar. Leybold specifies the SOGEVAC SV 300 B as the backing pump. The nominal pumping speed is 1000 m³/h at 50 Hz and 1200 m³/h at 60 Hz, the maximum effective pumping speed 800 and 1000 m³/h respectively. The pump measures 1059 × 376 × 396 mm, weighs 239 kg and is connected via DN 100 ISO-K; the noise level is below 75 dB(A).Typical applications
Roots pumps of the RUVAC series work as boosters in front of an oil-sealed or dry backing pump. The RUVAC WA 1001 is available from Ehrler & Beck in three variants (part numbers 11740, 11740TE, 11744). The motor power of all versions with motor is 4 kW at 50 and 60 Hz; the mains voltage ranges from 200–240 V to 380–460 V.
