Atlas Copco DVS 60 – entry into the large DVS design

The larger design of the series (DVS 60 to 140), which is available only as a 3-phase version, starts with the DVS 60. It delivers 60 m³/h at 50 Hz and 70 m³/h at 60 Hz; the ultimate vacuum is 150 mbar(a). The IE3 motor delivers 1.5 kW (60 Hz: 1.8 kW) at 1400 / 1700 rpm. Dimensions 692 × 365 × 382 mm (L × W × H), weight 66 kg, inlet and outlet G 1".

Design

For the DVS 60 to 140, the operating instructions show a vacuum relief valve and an exhaust silencer; according to the brochure, an acoustic enclosure is part of the standard equipment. The pump is air-cooled and works without oil.

Applications of the range

According to Atlas Copco, the DVS series is designed for packaging, medical systems, pick and place, CNC clamping, laboratory vacuum, holding, lifting and moving, pneumatic conveying, the printing industry and woodworking.

Variants of the DVS 60

The DVS 60 is available from Ehrler & Beck in three variants: 3002615671 (3Ph 220-230, 380-400 V 50 Hz / 220-230, 380-460 V 60 Hz), 3002615687 (3Ph 230/400 V 50 Hz), 3002615688 (3Ph 208-230/460 V 60 Hz).
