Atlas Copco DVS series

The Atlas Copco DVS series is a powerful range of dry-running vacuum pumps developed for reliable and clean vacuum generation in numerous industrial applications. The proven oil-free rotary vane principle allows low-maintenance operation and is particularly suitable for processes that require an oil-free vacuum.

With a nominal pumping speed of 5 to 140 m³/h and an achievable ultimate pressure of 120 to 150 mbar(a), depending on the model, the DVS series offers various performance levels for different vacuum requirements. The robust construction and compact design allow reliable integration into a wide variety of industrial vacuum systems.

Operating principle

The DVS series is characterised by its dry-running technology, which uses dry graphite vanes. These vanes slide over the surface of the housing cylinder, forming a graphite layer on the surface. This allows the vanes to slide with low friction and minimal wear. In addition, the discharged air is normally filtered after compression to produce virtually particle-free air. The air is also passed through an air cooler to lower the temperature of the discharged air. This carefully developed design and the high-quality graphite alloy minimise energy consumption and wear while maximising the vacuum level. The result is a reliable pump with a long service life and extended maintenance intervals that meets even the highest demands.
