Becker VXLF 2.400 – oil-free rotary vane vacuum pump of the X series

The VXLF 2.400 delivers 390 m³/h at 50 Hz and 460 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches a vacuum of 200 mbar absolute. The installed motor power is 7.5 kW at 50 Hz and 9.0 kW at 60 Hz, the sound pressure level 77 dB(A) and 79 dB(A) respectively. Without motor the pump weighs 248 kg; the overall length with motor is 1449–1477 mm depending on the motor, width 747 mm, height 579 mm. Suction connection G 4", exhaust connection G 2".

Dry-running rotary vane principle

The pump works without oil in the pumping chamber; there are no oil changes. The vacuum safety valve and the blow-off valve are each fitted with a silencer, and the inlet filter is integrated. Effective noise-reduction measures ensure quiet operation.

X series

For the X series Becker has developed a special vane material: the vanes achieve service lives of up to 20,000 operating hours or 3 years, and there is virtually no abrasion. Becker therefore describes the pumps as suitable for precision processes under clean-room conditions. Size, motor and connections correspond to the VTLF 2.400.

Maintenance

The transparent filter cover shows contamination at once, and the enlarged filter area allows longer change intervals. Maintenance can be carried out on site, so downtimes stay short. The robust design is intended for long running times even under demanding conditions.
