Edwards E2M175 – two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump for industry

The E2M175 belongs to Edwards' E2M series of robust two-stage rotary vane pumps (40 to 275 m³/h). It delivers 160 m³/h at 50 Hz and 196 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches an ultimate pressure of 3.3 × 10⁻³ mbar without gas ballast, 0.013 mbar with gas ballast. The motor power is 5.5 kW at 50 Hz and 6.5 kW at 60 Hz (Europe/USA version). The sound pressure level is 75 dB(A); with motor the pump weighs a maximum of 204 kg and measures 1039 × 415 × 564 mm (L × W × H). The E2M175 is water-cooled. Edwards recommends at least 80 l/h of cooling water at 20 °C; with the optional thermostatic valve the pump reaches its operating temperature faster and tolerates more water vapour.

Versions of the Edwards E2M175

The E2M175 is available in 5 versions (part numbers A36604940, A36604934, A36601000, A36607940, A36607934). HC is the standard pump for hydrocarbon oil; on the AZ version copper and brass parts are replaced by suitable materials such as stainless steel (azide-compatible).
