The Leybold ECODRY 25 plus is an oil-free, air-cooled multi-stage Roots vacuum pump with 25 m³/h peak pumping speed, 0.01 mbar ultimate pressure and only 52 dB(A). At 29 kg, it is the most compact dry backing pump in the ECODRY plus series. Ehrler & Beck supplies the ECODRY 25 plus with matching accessories and service.

Leybold ECODRY 25 plus – small, quiet and five years maintenance-free

The ECODRY 25 plus achieves a peak pumping speed of 25 m³/h and a typical ultimate pressure of 0.01 mbar. It measures 494 × 248 × 304 mm, weighs 29 kg and operates at 52 dB(A) – quiet enough for laboratories and analytical instruments. The inlet and outlet are DN 25 ISO-KF; the mains voltage can be switched between 100–127 V and 200–240 V, so the pump can be used worldwide.

Oil-free multi-stage Roots technology

Because the pumping chamber is oil-free and the rotors run contact-free at high speed, Leybold specifies the pump as maintenance-free for five years. The integrated controller with control panel allows vacuum gauges and valves to be connected directly and thus pressure-dependent control for greater energy efficiency and process reliability.

Typical applications

Mass spectrometry, electron microscopy, backing pump for turbomolecular pumps and UHV systems, leak detection, glove boxes, surface analysis, sterilisation, vacuum drying, helium cryostats, space simulation and particle accelerators.

Variants of the ECODRY 25 plus

The ECODRY 25 plus is available from Ehrler & Beck in one version (part number 162025V001). The pump draws up to 0.85 kW continuously (0.6 kW at ultimate pressure); the mains voltage can be switched from 100–127 V to 200–240 V (50/60 Hz, 1-phase). The weight is 29 kg.
