The GVD 85 delivers 79 m³/h at 50 Hz and 95 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches 3 × 10⁻³ mbar without gas ballast. The motor delivers 2.2 kW (60 Hz: 2.6 kW). The proven pressurised lubrication system prevents oil starvation even at high gas loads. When the pump is switched off under vacuum, protective devices prevent oil and air from being sucked back into the vacuum system.
