The Atlas Copco GVD series comprises 13 oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps with nominal pumping speeds from 0.75 to 255 m³/h (50 Hz) and ultimate pressures down to 1 × 10⁻³ mbar (depending on the model).

Rotary vane technology allows a technically simple design of vacuum pumps. A consistently high vacuum level in continuous operation is ensured by the circulating oil lubrication, perfectly matched materials and modern, precise manufacturing techniques. The oil separator with integrated oil return provides clean, oil-free exhaust air. A further advantage over other technologies is the low purchase cost.

- Adjustable gas ballast for water vapour and condensable gases
- High-performance polymer vanes, oil channels that are easy to clean
- IEC appliance connector, mounted on a base plate, CSA and UL approved
- Fast-acting anti-suckback protection
- Very quiet operation – according to Atlas Copco about half as loud as conventional pumps
- Two-stage and oil-sealed: excellent ultimate vacuum and high volume flow
