Leybold SCROLLVAC 15 plus – the scroll pump for humid processes

The SCROLLVAC 15 plus combines 14.5 m³/h maximum pumping speed with an ultimate pressure of 0.009 mbar. With gas ballast it handles up to 280 g/h of water vapour – more than any other size in the series. Power consumption at ultimate pressure 300 W, weight 26 kg, flanges DN 25 ISO-KF.

Three versions for different media

Besides the standard version with gas ballast, there is the H version without gas ballast – useful, for example, for noble gas recirculation or gas recovery, because a potential leak point is eliminated – and the C version with more chemically resistant materials for aggressive applications. A conversion kit turns a standard pump into a C version retroactively.

Typical applications

Drying and degassing processes in the laboratory, backing pump for turbomolecular pumps, analytical instruments and clean industrial processes.

Variants of the SCROLLVAC 15 plus

The SCROLLVAC 15 plus is available from Ehrler & Beck in six variants (part numbers 141015V10, 141015V11, 141015V12, 141015V30, 141015V31, 141015V32): as standard, H and C versions, each with a 1-phase or 3-phase motor. The power consumption at ultimate pressure is 0.3 kW for all variants and the weight 26 kg; the pumping speed ranges from 12.6 m³/h (3-phase at 50 Hz) to 14.5 m³/h.
