Leybold SCROLLVAC series

The Leybold SCROLLVAC series comprises 5 scroll vacuum pumps with nominal pumping speeds from 3 to 20 m³/h (50 Hz) and ultimate pressures down to 9 × 10⁻³ mbar (depending on the model).

Models: SCROLLVAC 3 plus, SCROLLVAC 7 plus, SCROLLVAC 10 plus, SCROLLVAC 15 plus, SCROLLVAC 18 plus.

Operating principle

Scroll vacuum pumps compress the gas between two intermeshing spirals: one spiral is fixed, the other orbits, so that the gas is conveyed from the outside inwards to the outlet in chambers that become ever smaller. The pump chamber is oil-free, and the pumps run quietly and with low vibration.

  • Three versions: standard with gas ballast, H without gas ballast, C for aggressive applications
  • Single-phase or three-phase: 100–127 V / 200–240 V or 200 / 380–415 V (50 Hz) and 200–230 / 460 V (60 Hz)
  • Quiet: less than 55 dB(A), low vibration (below 4.5 mm/s)
  • Certified: ATEX II 3 G Ex h IIC T4 Gc X (internal atmosphere only)
  • Oil-free: dry scroll principle, no oil in the pump chamber
