The Edwards Drystar GV80 is a water-cooled, dry claw vacuum pump with a pumping speed of 82 m³/h at 50 Hz (94 m³/h at 60 Hz) and an ultimate pressure of < 3 × 10⁻² mbar. Ehrler & Beck supplies the GV80 in seven variants with accessories and service.
The Edwards Drystar GV80 is a water-cooled, dry claw vacuum pump that Edwards positions as a clean, robust alternative to oil-sealed pumps. Unlike single-stage claw pumps, it reaches an ultimate pressure of < 3 × 10⁻² mbar. It is designed for continuous operation, tolerates large quantities of condensable vapours as well as dust and particles from the process and leaves no contaminated waste oil. With the EH500 booster (connection kit as an accessory) the pumping speed rises to 390 m³/h at 50 Hz.
The pump measures 860 × 607 × 344 mm, weighs 162 kg and is connected via ISO40 (inlet) and NW40 (outlet). With an outlet silencer the noise level is below 78 dB(A).

Variants of the Edwards Drystar GV80
The GV80 is available from Ehrler & Beck in seven variants (part numbers A70316940, A70316934, A70317940, A70317934, A70316935, A70317935, A70216985). All variants with motor have a 4 kW motor of efficiency class IE4; the mains voltages range from 200 V to 460 V at 50 and 60 Hz. Edwards distinguishes the versions GV80, GV80 FX and GV80P (configured package); in addition there is a variant without motor with a free shaft end.
