Atlas Copco DZQ 80 – dry claw pump for demanding processes

The DZQ 80 delivers up to 80 m³/h at 50 Hz and 94 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaches an ultimate pressure below 3 × 10⁻² mbar. At ultimate pressure it draws 3.6 kW, at full pumping capacity 5.8 kW; the motor delivers 4 kW (IE4). Dimensions 850 × 454 × 312 mm (L × W × H), weight 162 kg, inlet DN 40 ISO-K, outlet DN 40 ISO-KF.

Clean, robust and low-maintenance

There is no oil in the pumping chamber – oil changes and waste oil disposal are not needed, and the pumped gas stays clean. The pump tolerates dust and particles and also pumps large quantities of condensable vapours in continuous operation. The water cooling keeps the temperature constant; nitrogen or compressed air can be fed in via the purge gas connection. Since August 2025 Atlas Copco has supplied the DZQ 80 with an IE4 motor (efficiency 90.0 % at 50 Hz, 89.5 % at 60 Hz) instead of IE3.
