Elmo Rietschle 2BV5 111 – liquid ring vacuum pump of the L-BV5 series
The 2BV5 111 is a liquid ring vacuum pump of the L-BV5 series from Elmo Rietschle: monobloc design, housing in grey cast iron or stainless steel, built-in cavitation protection. It draws in gases and humid vapours down to an inlet pressure of 33 mbar abs. (97 % vacuum) and, according to the data sheet, works without cavitation down to 80 mbar abs.; for lower inlet pressures the integrated cavitation protection is connected. Motor power 5.5 kW at 50 Hz.
Versions and motors
Listed are 4 order numbers from the data sheet in the standard material version (housing grey cast iron (ceramic-coated inside), port plate grey cast iron, impeller bronze) with IE3 three-phase motors for various voltage ranges. Voltage, current, power, sound pressure level and weight are given with each version. Further material versions (material code C, H) are available according to the data sheet and can be supplied on request. Gas jet and ATEX versions have their own data sheets and are available on request.
Pumping speed
Elmo Rietschle gives the pumping speed as a characteristic curve over the inlet pressure (100 % saturated air, 20 °C, operating liquid water 15 °C, tolerance ±10 %). According to Elmo Rietschle, the L-BV5 series covers 90 to 600 m³/h. Ehrler & Beck determines the pumping speed for your operating point.
