The Edwards Stokes 615 BP is a Roots pump (mechanical booster) of the Stokes 6″ series with a pumping capacity of 3685 m³/h at 3000 min⁻¹ and 4420 m³/h at 3600 min⁻¹. The bypass version can pump down from atmospheric pressure. It is available without motor or with direct drive, for horizontal or vertical gas flow. Ehrler & Beck advises on sizing and service.

The Stokes 6" boosters are robust mechanical boosters for use together with Stokes rotary piston pumps and other backing pumps. The Stokes 615 BP reaches 3685 m³/h at 3000 min⁻¹ and 4420 m³/h at 3600 min⁻¹.Features
- Large shaft diameters, keyless ring-clamp gear system and dynamically balanced rotors
- Mechanical seal (1MS) or process isolation with five seals (5MS, PIB) for applications with dust and particles
- Without motor or with direct drive (1800 or 3600 min⁻¹), suitable for frequency converters
- Horizontal or vertical gas flow; bypass version for pumping down from atmospheric pressure
