Atlas Copco DBSt 2050 – single-stage side channel blower with two impellers working in parallel

Depending on the model, the DBSt 2050 delivers up to 2050 m³/h at 50 Hz and up to 2480 m³/h at 60 Hz. According to the data sheet, it reaches down to −310 mbar in vacuum operation and up to +270 mbar in compressor operation. The motor power is 15–29 kW (IE3). Dimensions up to 662 × 610 × 833 mm (L × W × H), weight 212–249.5 kg, inlet and outlet G 5" (DN 125). Atlas Copco marks the data sheets of the models with part number 8055810… as preliminary (as of 09/2024).

Oil-free side channel principle

According to Atlas Copco, the twin impellers of the DBSt range, working in parallel, deliver up to 2050 m³/h at a vacuum of up to −310 mbar (50 Hz). The impeller accelerates the air in the side channels without contact; there is no oil, no oil filter and no exhaust filter, and the exhaust air stays clean.

Applications of the range

Atlas Copco lists, among others, pad printing, paper cutting, roller cleaning, yarn processing, pneumatic conveying, vacuum tables, drying, the extraction of condensate, paint mist, chips and dust, and waste water treatment.

Variants of the DBSt 2050

The DBSt 2050 is available from Ehrler & Beck in two variants: 8055810038 (DBSt 2050-160), 8055810039 (DBSt 2050-310). The limit values of each variant – vacuum and compressor operation, 50 and 60 Hz – are given in the technical data.
