The Atlas Copco DBD 240 is a two-stage side channel blower with a single impeller: oil-free, non-contact and with an IE3 motor, for vacuum and pressure operation. Atlas Copco DBD 240 – two-stage side channel blower with single impeller
Depending on the model, the DBD 240 delivers up to 236 m³/h at 50 Hz and up to 285 m³/h at 60 Hz. According to the characteristic curve table, it reaches down to −450 mbar in vacuum operation and up to +550 mbar in compressor operation. The motor power is 4–6.5 kW (IE3). Dimensions up to 452 × 480 × 498 mm (L × W × H), weight 56.5–70 kg, inlet and outlet G 2" (DN 50).Oil-free side channel principle
According to Atlas Copco, the two-stage DBD series is ideal for applications with a vacuum level of up to −450 mbar that require only a limited volume flow. The impeller accelerates the air in the side channels without contact; there is no oil, no oil filter and no exhaust filter, and the exhaust air stays clean.Applications of the range
